Job Purpose:
Support and create interfaces for Core Banking Systems and resolve Level 2 incidents in back-end Core Banking Application systems. Provide support for End of Day (EOD) operators and coordinate Level 3 support with offshore teams.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop web interfaces (APIs) for applications to connect to core banking applications.
- Coordinate project groups and manage business demands for new system solutions, including technical coding and product implementation.
- Resolve Level 2 issues related to all core applications and provide DevOps support for in-house developed applications.
- Manage various project sprints during software development phases involving core banking application connections.
- Support daily operations and performance of the core banking system (CBS).
- Automate back-office operations using third-party systems through the core banking system.
- Provide Level 2 technical support for CBS queries and incidents, including live, data warehousing, UAT, and reporting.
- Liaise with Level 2/3 CBS support teams to report incidents and implement solutions both onsite and offsite.

- Offer expert advice on core banking systems and contribute to the unit’s objectives.
- Conduct UAT testing for core banking changes.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Proficiency in computer programming.
- Experience with Linux systems support and administration.
- Ability to create and support scalable enterprise applications.
- Understanding of how operating system software and computer hardware enable applications to run, preferably on Unix/Linux or Solaris.
- Familiarity with SQL using RDBMS databases like MySQL, Postgres, MS SQL, or Oracle.
- Awareness of current and emerging technology trends, including Robotic Automation, AI, and Machine Learning.
