Position: Sales Officer
The Sales Officer will be responsible for growing the bank’s customer base by identifying potential clients, opening savings and loan accounts, marketing FINCA products and services, and maintaining strong customer relationships. Successful candidates will work closely with branch teams to achieve sales targets while delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new customers for FINCA products and services.
- Conduct field sales activities and customer outreach campaigns.
- Open savings and loan accounts for new clients.
- Build and maintain profitable customer relationships.
- Prepare and submit quality loan applications.
- Promote FINCA’s digital banking and alternative delivery channels.
- Work with branch management to achieve sales and portfolio growth targets.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Community Development, Social Sciences, or another related field.
- Experience in sales, customer service, financial services, agriculture, or a client-facing role is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work independently and meet targets.
- Basic computer literacy and report-writing skills.
